Funny Photography Ideas: Playing With Perspective
Recording the cute moments you spend with your family in a photo is always a great idea! It helps to keep your family memories alive, so they’ll never be forgotten.
If you’re looking for a different, fun way to capture some family snaps, here’s some inspiration that will show you what can do by playing with perspectives, that will lead to some very interesting shots.
1- Baby Cuppa Time
Grab your favorite mug, throw a fluffy carpet or blanket on the floor and ta da! Isn’t that the cutest cuppa you ever did see?
2- Big Kids, Small Parents
How cool was the movie ‘Honey, I shrunk the kids’? Why not try reverting the roles and let the kids say ‘We shrunk the parents’? The best place to be to attempt this effect would be in an outdoor area, as you require a significant amount of space between the kids and the parents.
3- Depth of Field
Adding your favorite trinkets, or cool bits and bobs you find on your travels, can add that special finishing touch to your photos. You could use a frame, a wood sign or even your kids’ favorite toys. Having your trinket up close and in focus, with a large depth of field, produces beautifully eye-catching results.
For these shots you would need a clear blue-sky day, with only a few of those fluffy clouds floating around. Pay attention to the shape and size of the clouds and let you imagination do the rest.
5- Pregnancy Fun
What about adding a few fun shots to your pregnancy photoshoot? Just go to an outdoor area and get dad-to-be to pretend he is giving you a helping hand with supporting your bump. They will never look that big in any other photo!
6- The Bucket Challenge
Kids will love this one! While at the beach, borrow their bucket for a few minutes, ask them to perform their most terrorised face and there you go: a fun shot showing the invasion of the giant buckets!
